In 2018 consumers spent around $57 million on pasta products (dried pasta, dried and instant noodles, chilled pasta, chilled noodles, ambient pasta & noodles), in 2018 which represented a 2.7% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) between 2014-2018. The increase in pasta market could be indicated by rising urbanization rates, fast paced life, and growing acceptance of Asian foods.
The purpose of this project was to create a fictitious food company attempting to expand their market-share into new demographics while focusing on attractive upscale packaging design for their product variety (cheese, noodle, pasta sauce, and bread).
